At the end of September three IPC students from New Zealand and Tahiti headed to Japan to study at International Pacific University (IPU) for five months.
Bryony Kentfield from is attracted by Japan's mix of tradition and modernity, and plans to live and work there in the future. This exchange will surely be a step towards the fulfilment of her dream.
Mitch Davis, also from New Zealand, went to Japan four years prior and fell hopelessly in love with it. Mitch, who says he wants to return to Japan once again and study Japanese, is also a huge rugby fan. He says he wants to join IPU's rugby team and keep up with his rugby. After graduating from IPC, he plans to teach English in Japan.
Aude Ferté from Tahiti is looking forward to having new experiences in Japan. She is eager to have fun and get involved in anything and everything.
Applications have also opened for a new distance learning qualification aimed at Japanese offered through IPU. To find out more, go to the IPU website.
