Best Dress and Best Suits Competition

"Formal Dress. Dazzling Dress and Stunning Suits" was the dress code written on the artistic invitation card of IPCSA's 2009 Ball Party on 27th November. Taking the theme of "Gorgeous and Glamorous", this party was the first project of the newly elected Students Association members and its President, Hirotaka Ota.
A series of performances from the Kodama Japanese Taiko Drum Team, the Yosakoi team, and the Abe band entertained the guests. The night took off with a swing and some students even started to do Break Dancing on the floor.
To spice up the night, there was the Best Dress and Best Suits Competition where the guests became their own judges. The judging took quite a lot longer than was expected because each competitor's outfit had its own uniqueness. Another competition was The Dance Battle that brought the party to a conclusion.
According to Hirotaka, the party was very successful and all the organizers of the event co-operated well. "I think the party went better than planned, thanks to all the event organizers."
"From organizing the Ball Party, I learnt that even in such a short time, people are able to achieve their goal by co-operating with each other. Confusion may occur while organizing the event because of different opinions and ideas. However, with respect, discussion, and cooperation, we are able to achieve our goal."
