On 24th September, Samuel 'Sam' Hall, a 2008 IPC student from New Zealand, arrived safely at IPU campus in Okayama, Japan. He was selected in early August to participate in the 2009 Student Exchange Programme between IPC and International Pacific University. IPU students and lecturers gathered to give him a warm welcome.
A welcome party was also organized at the student dormitory on the night of the same day. Sam will be studying with IPU students for 5 months, from the end of September 2009 until February 2010.
"I want to continue my level 2 kendo training at IPU and make lots of friends," commented Sam, in Japanese.
