IPC Student Association Summer BBQ Party

BBQ time for IPC students and staff members |

With the summer term coming to an end, the IPC Student Association (IPCSA) organized a BBQ Party on the front courtyard of the dining hall at the IPC Campus on the evening of Friday, 13th March. The barbequed sausages and steaks sent such a delicious aroma that they invited a long queue of students and staff members. At a nearby table, the famous students-made Vietnamese spring rolls were also served. "They're so yummy!" comments could be heard from the crowd.
While the barbeque was under way, two bands performed live music on an outdoor stage set up on the courtyard. A wide variety of music and songs were played between them, bringing life to the party.
According to IPCSA President, Greg Ng, the planning of the party started a month before by the IPCSA team and dining hall staff. At first, the idea was to use the space outside the dining hall. He thought that it was rarely used by the students and in the spring and summer time it could be considered a great place to hang out. Furthermore, some of the students wanted to perform as a music band at a party. So Greg decided that it was a good time to throw a BBQ Party.
"I also wanted just to charge up life for students and staff for one night just to show that we can do things in IPC if we co-operate and work together. I also wanted to bring all students together to share something special and different".
"Overall I am pleased with the outcome of this event and wish to strive further and encourage students to come up with their own ideas and help them achieve them."
