Each year at IPC, volunteer students work together to collect photos and make DVDs of events at IPC during the whole year and put them together as the Yearbook. This year, about 30 students were involved in preparing the material. Divided into 4 groups, they were responsible for taking photos, designing, making movies and looking for sponsorship from local companies. The final product was delivered on 28th November and immediately went on sale in the Dining Hall.
The 2008 Yearbook includes photos of this year's graduates and comments from them, a page featuring each class of first year students, group photos of the hall residents, photos of various events, and fun photos submitted by the students. A DVD comes with the Yearbook. This is full of movies from events such as Sakura Festival, the Music Festival and the Sports Competition.
This year's Chief of the Yearbook team, Masashi Tanaka (a 2006 student) commented, "We held a competition for the Yearbook mascot design this year. The winner was Indah Mayasari (a 2007 student from Indonesia) with her attractive design of a mascot called 'Joko' - A cool mascot with a hat and full of humour. It also appears on the cover."
Selling at $30 each, including the DVD, the Yearbooks were almost sold out by December 4th, so don't be left out. Go to the Dining Hall to get one!
