A Great Reason to Celebrate

One of the main focuses at IPC is teaching English as a second language. The Foundation programme is designed to improve the English of many of our international students and prepare them for their study in the Diploma, Degree and post-graduate programmes. Recently a small function took place to celebrate significant success in this endeavour in the 2009 academic year and to congratulate those who played the major role in this.

The achievement of the students who studied in the Foundation programme in the 2009 academic year, which ended in March 2010, was significant. The improvement in their TOEIC scores was the best in recent years and the number of students who progressed into the Degree programme was also the highest.

The progress of this group of students is a great indication of the level of care provided for the students by the teachers in the Foundation programme and of their commitment to improving the English language ability of our students.

We are now looking forward to another year of great achievement this year.
