Graduate Diploma of International Studies
Overview
English is fundamental to studying in an English speaking country. It is important to have a high level of reading, listening, writing and speaking to be successful in a tertiary institution. In the Foundation Education Programme, students are divided into small classes according to their level and develop their English skills to the required level to achieve tertiary qualifications. Along with the academic English skills they will develop conversation skills, which are vital in everyday life in English speaking countries.
The GDIS programme can reflect a specialisation a student may have, or an interest in one of the following areas:
- International Relations
- International Business
- Environmental Studies
- Culture and Linguistics

Course Duration
Course consists of eight papers usually taken over two full time semesters of study.
