International Relations

International RelationsAll global initiatives are largely determined on political terms. Studying International Relations gives you a better understanding of the causes and problems associated with current events and helps your understanding of other cultures. By realising the complexities involved in human relations on a regional, national, and global basis you will gain a greater understanding of how global civil society really works.

International RelationsStudents will have the opportunity to discuss International Issues with over 20 different nationalities in classes and on campus. The papers also incorporate visits from guest speakers such as ambassadors to New Zealand and military personnel.

The International Relations Major can be applied directly to the above opportunities, graduates will also have the broader knowledge gained from Language and Business papers that are included in the Degree program.

Ananda Fadila
ASEAN Secretariat

Studying at IPC was a unique and invaluable experience for me. Everything I learnt in class was always in the context of interdisciplinary study, which I was unfamiliar with before I came to IPC. I had the opportunity to experience higher education in an environment that not only tested my academic aptitude, but also enabled me to improve my interpersonal skills. This has helped me to find my way to a very valuable job. Studying at IPC, will challenge your aptitude and help you prepare for a career in an international environment, whether it is with an intergovernmental organisation or in the private sector.
