The five chefs, one cook plus fourteen kitchen hands working together in the dining hall provide residential students with three meals every day. Cooked breakfasts are served five days a week, with a continental breakfast provided on the weekends.

There are four choices available on the lunch menu. For example, there might be noodles with a small bowl of curry and rice, soup and a bread roll, a sandwich bar and a full salad bar. Juice, coffee, tea and water are also available, and students who prefer a vegetarian menu are also catered for.

There is a variety of main meals at dinner time, including a selection of meats, hot vegetables, a salad bar, fresh fruit, and dessert. Coffee, tea and water are also available. As at lunchtime, a vegetarian dinner menu is also available.

An internal shop and licensed bar is open to students and staff where they can purchase TV snacks, after hours meal tickets, books, ice cream, soft drinks, shampoo, soap and other personal hygiene items. After 5.30pm, the bar opens to serve beer and pre-mixed drinks until 8.30 pm.
